The full game, as well as the Gold Edition and Crown Packs, will be on sale in all three digital stores for the duration of the event. If you have tried the game on previous free weekends or similar events, your characters and progress are still there, waiting for your return. Once the event ends, all of your characters, any items you purchase, and your progress will all carry over to the full game if you purchase it. The free week includes access to all areas of the base game, but not the DLCs, as well as 500 Crowns (premium currency) to spend in the Crown Store. New players can experience the entire base game for no cost during the Free Play event. To celebrate the upcoming release of their newest expansion, The Elder Scrolls Online: High Isle, ESO is free for all to play from now until April 26.
